No Thanks, Man is a testament to breaking free from the expected script.

Ever-evolving on the edges

of our shared reality is

a world that resonates, lingers,

and disrupts from beneath the surface...

website-showsection-final-2520.jpg

Empty & Awake unfolds across hypnotic musical landscapes, tracing the unraveling of a self once defined by illusion. Through fracture, collapse, and confrontation, what begins as an internal rebellion becomes a cinematic reckoning.

Each song acts as an episode in this 10 part series, peeling back another layer of identity, loss, and longing—until, in the depths of the void, something transformative takes form.

"How Much Did You Know"

Episode 5

The pattern resurfaces, first as echo, then as repetition. Betrayal takes shape not only in what was done, but in what was dismissed and disguised as care. Healing begins with the recognition that what remains intact was never broken.

"Three Shots"

Episode 4

Three shots broke the promise that home could still be safe. Fear took root where belonging once lived, and survival meant giving up what was never going to heal. Joy lives on the other side of loss, but even years later, the idea of home remains — deliberately avoided, soaked in questions of regret.

"OK Fine"

Episode 3

Everything held together for survival starts to split—mind, body, the shape constructed to be loved. Beneath the surface, the false self strains against collapse, held together only by the weight of expectation. Falling becomes the motion that frees what’s real from everything built to contain it.

"Inside Out There"

Episode 2

Returning to a world where outside glances never land quite right, distorted reflections echo louder than truth, and longing for identity stays buried beneath the noise. Inside the stillness mistaken for emptiness, the dream stirs and ripples to the surface.

Away - Film Roll.jpg

"Away Already"

Episode 1

This peaceful escape brings only the relief of inevitable change. Time away doesn’t fix the connection—it reveals the illusion already breaking down. What felt real dissolves into fragments of love, nostalgia, and fading light, until the only truth left is the one believed.

Looking into the mirror, she asks “How much did you know?”,  but she now understands that the question is no longer for the people who betrayed her. It’s for herself.

Season 1 | Episode 2

"Inside Out There"

She observes the people in her life — her friends, her family, even strangers — hoping they’ll see her for who she truly is, yet doubting that anyone can truly understand what’s inside her. As she questions her own dreams and fears, she begins to wonder whether anyone knows the real her, or if her inner world is simply invisible to those around her.  As her internal struggles rise to the surface, she confronts her deepest fears — that her dreams may be too big for anyone to see, or worse, that they might not matter at all.

Away - Film Roll.jpg

Season 1 | Episode 1

"Away Already"

Disillusioned with the monotony of their lives, a couple embarks on a spontaneous road trip in search of meaning and escape. As they travel through unfamiliar landscapes, they confront the fading connection between them, the love they once shared, and the realities of the world they’re trying to outrun. They may not find the freedom they hoped for, but they’ve learned something deeper: the truth is as much about what we believe, as what is actually true.

No Thanks, Man is the solo work of Geraldine Espino - musical vagabond, modern beatnik & polite revolutionary.

Espino's deep vocals cut through percussive melodies, as a world of influences coalesces into an authentic musical expression that transcends classification.
